The GEM2120-S is a state of the art microprocessor based engine monitoring/shutdown system that utilizes your existing senders to monitor either four ascending or 1 descending and 3 ascending engine functions. When it senses a problem, the system activates a 100 decibel audible alarm in conjunction with an individual warning light identifying the problem function. Thirty seconds after the audible warning, the GEM2120-S will either:
· Put the engine into a “limp” mode (with the addition the addition of the optional # AFS Adjustable Fuel Solenoid)
OR
· Shut the engine down
You can choose from one of the following descending functions:
· Oil Pressure
· Fuel Pressure
· Water Pressure
PLUS
Any three of the following ascending functions:
· Water Temperature
· Oil Temperature
· Drive Temperature
· Knockmeter
OR
All four of the ascending of the functions listed above.
User defined alarm/shutdown points can easily be set/re-set using Adjustment Tool # 1-GEM2000-PM*.
